Split Apple Retreat confirmation policy

To confirm a reservation at Split Apple Retreat a deposit is required. This is either 25% of the entire booking or 1 night, whichever is greater. Payments can be made by direct credit into our bank account, VISA or MasterCard. Once payment has been made, bookings will be confirmed via written confirmation.

Split Apple Retreat Cancellation Policy

  • For all confirmed bookings that are cancelled 60 days or longer from arrival, a $250 booking fee will be deducted and the balance of the deposit returned.
  • Cancellations made 30-60 days from the time of arrival will incur a charge of 25% of the booking, unless the room(s) can be re-booked, which we will endeavour to do, in which case only the $250 booking fee will be charged.
  • For cancellations made within 30 days from the time of arrival, a fee of 50% of the total booking will be charged, if the room(s) cannot be re-booked, except for the period of December 15-Feb. 28, when 100% of the total booking will be charged, if the room(s) cannot be re-booked.
  • ​Any cancellation made within two weeks of arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee on the entire booking. We urge our guests to obtain travel insurance to protect against unforeseen emergencies.

The balance is due upon checkout. Rates indicated are per person/per night and include gourmet breakfast and 5-course Asian-Mediterranean fusion dinner with pre-dinner canapes, aperitif and a bottle of selected premium New Zealand wine daily. Rates are exclusive of NZ GST (15%).
